Mrs. Kay is Director of Library/Media Services and has run the library and information skills program for St. Mary's PS-8th grade students for more than a decade. Born in Alaska and raised in Western New York State, she is a graduate of Syracuse University with a masters from Indiana State. A member of the California School Library Association and the American Library Association, Mrs. Kay is also the current (2009-2011) Library Science Chairperson for the California Association of Independent Schools. Additionally, she participates on ABDO Publishing's Advisory Board and as an underwriter for Flamingnet, an online teen and preteen book review site.
Mrs. Kay and her husband live in Lake Forest, California.
